This new weekly program takes listeners beyond news events to the things that change our lives, cause us to stop and re-think, inspire us.

To provide continued support of the North Carolina expansion of DonorsChoose, as well as national expansion efforts. DonorsChoose provides students with resources that public schools often lack. Teachers submit proposals online for materials or experiences that their students need to learn, and donors choose to fund a project and make it a classroom reality. In 2005, DonorsChoose was selected by amazon.com as one of the ten most innovative nonprofits in the world, and was the winner of the Amazon Challenge.
